10 Biggest Lessons from 2023

Reflecting on this year and all the beautiful things, I came up with a list of my biggest lessons from 2023 and wanted to share them with you. 

  1. Trust that the answers will come (remind myself that I don’t have to have everything figured out right this second). I find myself feeling out of control sometimes if things don’t go at my pace because I want to be in control of my life.  Letting things flow as they should and trusting that with time things will come to light.  I don’t have to have it all figured out right this second. 
  2. When I get out the way of life, magic happens. another trust thing.  But trusting that my intentions and the energetic levels I am striving to buzz at are attracting my highest wants and desires.
  3. Resting is actually being productive. You don’t have to be constantly doing things to be productive.  If we are constantly being busy then we are going to experience burnout and then how are we supposed to be productive at all? 
  4. I sleep best when my phone isn’t on my night stand. I’m actually journaling, or reading through these cute pregnancy cards, or reading, or visualizing my goals before bed now.  Did you know that you can lead you subconscious mind to mull over whatever you want it to?  So all night you could be thinking about your goals and desires and wants and dreams instead of the the last reel you watched before snoozing. 
  5. Daily routines matter. I don’t have a perfect one.  This is definitely something I want to get better at. But I can say since implementing and showing up for a morning gym routine has been life changing!  I won't miss my M, W, F morning workouts and feel so empowered when I show up for myself. 
  6. Be open to change.  Never say never.  I've been a vegetarian for the last 7 years and recently made the switch to eating a carnivore diet.  Miscarrying lead me to this decision and I've just been really open to trying new things to prep this body for a baby someday.  It's okay to change your views and to try new things!
  7. Question everything and see what feels good to you and lean on your own intuition.  In a world that you can find whatever answer you're looking for, it can be confusing when every person you talk to gives you different advice on the same subject.  I've found that I always make the best decision whenever I lean on my own intuition after listening to everyone else. I need that time to really digest the research and come up with my own answer or solution. 
  8. Who is for me is who is for me. Not stressing when a client goes with a different florist and being happy about it.  Happy they found the perfect fit, because I’m super happy when my ideal client books me.  It's an energetic I wanted to shift to help buzz at a higher frequency. 
  9. Speaking of energetics, your frequency matters. I know I’ve brought this up before, but the frequency we are buzzing at matters.  This is essentially the same thing as the law of attraction.  Buzzing at a positive frequency will bring more positive things into my life. 
  10. Being grateful for what I have. I literally find myself saying thank you in my mind and to inanimate objects all the time!  This started with setting alarms on a little watch I would wear around my wrist.  5 alarms would go off throughout the day.  Each time the alarm buzzed, I would think of 5 things I was grateful for in my mind.  Now I think of things throughout my day with no reminder.  While I’m in the shower, thank you water.  While I’m driving, thank you car.  While I’m sleeping, thank you pillows.  It’s been really special to fund gratitude everywhere.  You start to see it everywhere.  You feel your heart changing.
