ALEXA HOWE, CFD
Owner, Certified Floral Designer, Flower Lover
Alexa Howe is a self made entrepreneur and floral designer with over a decade of floral experience. She’s driven to learn the latest trends and techniques in the industry, sources the freshest, most unique flower varieties available, and loves playing with unexpected, eye-catching color palettes.
Our greatest love is capturing our client’s vision and bringing it to life. We know flowers best and you know you best. In order to create the perfect floral masterpieces for you, a conversation must first be had. Please reach out to us by the method you’re most comfortable with and let’s craft your dream floral experience, together.
Oftentimes, the life span of the flowers you’ve purchased for your wedding or event exceeds the final dance or last call of the night. As we encourage our clients and their guests to take flowers home with them after their event is over, it’s not always a possibility. With your blessing, let us take your flowers to our local hospital patients and retirement facility residents to enjoy.
We are always intentional while designing. Every flower placed is done so with awareness. Not routinely or robotically, but with full presence to connect stem with hand with vessel with tool. We strive to let creativity flow effortlessly throughout the space as the design unfolds. And we honor the blooms while staying connected to our client’s vision. It’s a collaborative effort where the creative voices of the botanicals, the client, and the designer come together as one.
If you’re looking for a superior experience with flowers, you’ve come to the right place.
Every design created in the Lilly and Iris Studio is an original. We never replicate or repeat designs as we connect with the blooms that are in season. This technique won first place in the 6th annual Alexandra Garden Rose Design Contest. She competed worldwide with the depicted funeral wreath design in the Everyday Design Category.
Alexa’s funeral wreaths have been showcased in print in Florist’s Review Magazine and her bridal bouquets and large scale wedding installations have been published in Rocky Mountain Bride, Utah Bride and Groom, and Utah Valley Bride Magazines.
